Jayesh Chakravarthi is Country Head for the IT Division, at Fidelity India.  He is responsible for executing IT engagements for Fidelity globally, as well as leadership development. 

Prior to joining FMR India, jayesh has spent 20 years working for various IT companies. He served the last five years as Vice President for Supply Chain and ERP practice and Head of Asia pacific for MindTree Consulting. Prior to MindTree, Jayesh worked for Sun Micro Systems for 6 years as Director for India operations. At Sun he was part of the team that helped set-up Sun’s off-shore development centre. Prior to Sun, Jayesh spent 8 years with Wipro in various capacities.

Jayesh received a Bachelor of Engineering degree in electrical engineering and masters in business administration in 1987.

Widely traveled, Jayesh’s other interests include teaching and writing. Jayesh is a guest speaker at IIM Bangalore and has been on the recruitment board of Bharatidasan Institute of management at Trichy. Jayesh writes in business magazines and is currently writing a book (a novel) with the Indian IT Industry as a backdrop.
